Cette approche permet aux producteurs d’augmenter leurs bénéfices, comme l’illustre l’exemple de Bertin ZONDO, qui a pu acheter une voiture grâce à la vente de maïs. Grâce à l’essor du numérique, les coopératives développent des points de vente locaux, des sites web de commerce électronique et des communautés en ligne, ce qui simplifie la chaîne d’approvisionnement. C’est par exemple, le cas de la coopérative des producteurs de cajou dans l’Atacora qui a pu établir un partenariat avec un supermarché belge pour l’achat de plus de 800 tonnes de noix de cajou brutes. Le warrantage est également une méthode expérimentée par les acteurs. Il a été initié par le programme Approche Communale pour le Marché Agricole phase 2 et permet aux acteurs de mobiliser des quantités importantes de produits, tandis que l’analyse des prix au niveau local et international aide à toucher un plus large public. La présidente du CCTS de Savè, Koba Salomé, témoigne de l’efficacité de la vente en groupe pour les producteurs de la coopérative.
Quant à Salomé BIAOU, gestionnaire de maïs, elle explique comment ce système de warrantage a été très efficace pour toucher plus de clients. « Nous avons pu signer un partenariat avec le Programme Alimentaire Mondial pour livrer des tonnes de maïs, grâce au warrantage », a-t-elle laissé entendre.
Les coopératives agricoles féminines sont indispensables au développement économique des communautés agricoles. L’idéal serait de développer des stratégies innovantes pour accéder aux marchés et améliorer les conditions de vie des membres de ces coopératives.
