Ce soutien en matière première à savoir 145 tonnes de maïs, 138 tonnes de Soja, 107 tonnes de riz Paddy, 352 tonnes de provende, 43 tonnes d’ignames et 45 tonnes de manioc pour ne citer que ces lots, sont entre autre les mesures d’accompagnement de la coopération suisse au Bénin à travers le projet PROCIVA cofinancé avec le gouvernement allemand pour permettre à 500 entreprises au Bénin d’améliorer leur résilience économique et sociale et résister aux effets pervers de la pandémie du coronavirus.
« Ainsi il convient de rappeler que la Coopération suisse au Bénin apporte un appui à travers le PROCIVA, pour la dotation en facteur de production, surtout en approvisionnement en matière première au profit de 500 entreprises accompagnées pour un montant global de 189 000 000 Fcfa. En conséquence nous espérons vivement que ses appuis complémentaires contribueront effectivement à faire face aux différentes difficultés relevées liées à cette crise mondiale du coronavirus » apprend Dr Bettina de Campos Coordonnatrice Secteur Vert Développement Rural, Agriculture et Environnement à la GIZ.
En effet, les entreprises bénéficiaires sont engagées dans sept chaînes de valeurs agricoles dont le Riz, le Soja, la Volaille, le Maïs, le Manioc, l’Igname et le Maraîchage. La Coopération suisse réitère son engagement à privilégier un contact proche avec les partenaires et les bénéficiaires pour que très vite puisse être ressenti la température des changements réajustés.
« L’objectif est effectivement de renforcer la résilience des entreprises face à ce Choc exogène pour leur permettre la survie à court terme. C’est aussi d’assurer que la production puisse continuer que les entreprises puissent faire les ajustements nécessaires et surtout aussi que les emplois puissent être conservés. C’est une action complémentaire aux mesures du gouvernement du Bénin à l’endroit du secteur privé et il appui les entrepreneurs qui ne peuvent pas bénéficier de l’action gouvernementale. Donc toutes ces actions contribuent à maintenir la dynamique locale et permet de stabiliser la situation socio économique dans le pays vis-à-vis de l’impact de la pandémie » précise Schranz Bjorn, Chef Suppléant de la Coopération Internationale.
Au regard de la crise, les gouvernants, les partenaires techniques et financiers ainsi que les organismes d’aide au développement, ne cessent de développer et multiplier des stratégies pour atténuer les effets de la Covid 19 afin de préserver tous les secteurs vitaux de l’économie. A cet effet, le gouvernement béninois a consenti plus de 74 000 000 000 FCFA pour soutenir les entreprises impactées. Le secrétaire général adjoint du MAEP Innocent Togla a pour sa part, tenu à rassurer de ce que le ministre en charge de l’Agriculture de l’Elevage et de la Pêche ne ménagera aucun effort pour accompagner la Coopération suisse et la Coopération allemande dans cette noble initiative qui offre une opportunité aux entrepreneurs des petites et moyennes entreprises afin de relever les nombreux défis et de consolider les avancées obtenues du fait des différents accompagnements reçus. « Au nom du gouvernement et au nom du ministre, je voudrais remercier une fois encore la Coopération suisse et la Coopération allemande pour cet apport substantiel à l’atteinte des Objectifs de Développement Durable de l’agenda 2030 et également tous les partenaires techniques et financiers qui œuvrent pour l’amélioration des conditions de vie de nos populations vulnérables. Mesdames et messieurs les bénéficiaires je vous prie de faire bon usage de toutes ces matières premières afin de relever avec excellence les nombreux défis qui se présentent à vous dans ce contexte de la pandémie de la covid 19. Mesdames et messieurs chers participants, c’est donc à cœur joie que j’invite officiellement nos partenaires de la coopération allemande et de la coopération suisse ici présente à se joindre à moi au nom du ministre pour lancer solennellement ce jeudi 05 novembre 2020 la remise de matières premières aux 500 entreprises bénéficiaires… ».
Les bénéficiaires promettent un usage minutieux des dons mis à leur disposition. « C’est le lieu de remercier la Coopération suisse et PROCIVA GIZ au nom de mes collègues PME, pour nous avoir redonné espoir à travers ce énième appui, un appui sans doute précieux et qui vient à point nommé puisse que permettra de relancer nos activités économiques et atteindre les performances souhaitées. Au nom des 500 PME bénéficiaires, et en mon nom propre, je voudrais vous rassurer de ce que nous ferons un très bon usage des matières premières afin d’impacter nos entreprises et contribuer de façon significative à la promotion de l’économie locale » rassure Isidore Messenzongo représentant des bénéficiaires.
